노마드 함뜨에서 진행했었던 북극곰이다.
노마드 함뜨는 즉석에서 도안을 만들며 조금씩 공개하여 진행하는 미스터리 함뜨의 일종으로, 지침이 정교하지 않을 수 있다.
뜨는 법
부끅이의 팔을 먼저 떠서 잠시 쉬게 하고, 다리부터 원통뜨기로 떠올라간다.
어깨에서 팔을 합쳐 머리까지 떠서 키치너 스티치로 마무리 한 뒤 귀를 만들어 바느질하여 이어 붙인다.
준비물
장갑 바늘 또는 매직루프를 할 수 있는 80cm 이상 줄바늘
1. 팔
6코를 잡고 원통뜨기 한다.
1단: 단 끝까지 겉뜨기.
2단: *겉뜨기 1, 바늘비우기* 단 끝까지 반복 = 12코.
3단: *겉뜨기 1, 꼬아뜨기(ktbl)* 단 끝까지 반복.
4-26단: 단 끝까지 겉뜨기 (총 23단).
27단: 4코 막기, 겉뜨기 7 = 8코.
실을 자르고 똑같이 하나 더 만들어 팔 2개를 잠시 쉬게 한다.
2. 다리
8코를 잡고 원통뜨기 한다.
1단: 단 끝까지 겉뜨기.
2단: *겉뜨기 1, 바늘비우기* 단 끝까지 반복 = 16코.
3단: *겉뜨기 1, 꼬아뜨기* 단 끝까지 반복.
4-10단: 단 끝까지 겉뜨기 (총 7단).
11단: 2코 막기, 겉뜨기 13 = 14코.
실을 자르고 두 번째 다리를 위와 같이 뜨는데 두 번째 다리는 실을 자르지 않는다.
3. 몸통
1) 다리 합치기
두 번째 다리에서 이어 뜬다.
감아코 8코, 첫 번째 다리를 가져와서 단 끝까지 겉뜨기(다리 2개의 코 막은 부분이 서로 마주보도록 위치시켜서 겉뜨기한다), 감아코 8, 두 번째 다리 겉뜨기 = 44코.
2) 궁뎅이
마커를 걸어 시작점을 표시하고 계속해서 원통뜨기로 총 27단을 겉뜨기로 뜬다.
다리에 솜을 미리 채워 넣는다.
3) 가슴
다음과 같이 궁뎅이의 양 옆에서 코를 줄인다.
1단: 겉뜨기 12, 오른코 모아뜨기(ssk), 겉뜨기 2, 왼코 모아뜨기(k2tog), 겉뜨기 16, 오른코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 2, 왼코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 4.
2-4단: 단 끝까지 겉뜨기 (총 3단).
5단: 겉뜨기 11, 오른코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 2, 왼코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 14, 오른코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 2, 왼코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 3.
6-8단: 단 끝까지 겉뜨기 (총 3단).
9단: 겉뜨기 11, 4코 막기, 겉뜨기 13, 4코 막기, 겉뜨기 2.
가랑이를 바느질 하고 몸통에 솜을 미리 채워 넣는다.
팔은 헬짱이 되지 않도록 적당히 솜을 채워 넣는다.
4) 팔 합치기
1단: *코 막은 곳까지 겉뜨기, 팔을 가져와서 모두 겉뜨기* 2번 반복.
2단: 단 끝까지 겉뜨기.
3단: 겉뜨기 11, 오른코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 2, 왼코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 16, 오른코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 2, 왼코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 5.
4단: 단 끝까지 겉뜨기.
5단: 겉뜨기 10, 오른코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 2, 왼코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 14, 오른코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 2, 왼코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 4.
6단: 단 끝까지 겉뜨기.

8단: 단 끝까지 겉뜨기.

10단: 단 끝까지 겉뜨기.
4. 얼굴
계속해서 12단을 겉뜨기로 뜨고 다음과 같이 코를 줄인다.
1단: 겉뜨기 7, 오른코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 2, 왼코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 8, 오른코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 2, 왼코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 1.
2단: 겉뜨기 6, 오른코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 2, 왼코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 6, 오른코 모아뜨기, 겉뜨기 2, 왼코 모아뜨기.
3단: 겉뜨기 8(바늘 A 에 옮긴다), 겉뜨기 10(바늘 B 에 옮긴다), 남은 2코를 바늘 A 에 옮긴다.
얼굴에 솜을 채워 넣고 몸통에서 솜이 자리를 잘 잡도록 솜가위 등으로 정리를 한다.
두 바늘을 평행이 되도록 잡고 키치너 스티치로 마무리 한다.
5. 귀
4코 잡고 평면뜨기 한다.
1단: 단 끝까지 안뜨기.
2단: *겉뜨기 1, 왼코 늘림(M1L)* 3번 반복, 겉뜨기 1 = 7코.
3단: 단 끝까지 안뜨기.
4단: *겉뜨기 2, 왼코 늘림* 3번 반복, 겉뜨기 1 = 10코.
5-7단: 메리야스뜨기.
8단: *겉뜨기 1, 왼코 모아뜨기* 3번 반복, 겉뜨기 1 = 7코.
9단: 단 끝까지 안뜨기.
10단: 겉뜨기 1, 왼코 모아뜨기 3 = 4코.
실을 바느질 할 수 있을 만큼 남기고 자른 뒤 돗바늘을 끼워 아래 그림과 같이 첫 코부터 들어가서 모든 코를 통과시킨다. (thread tail through remaining stitches)
귀 2개를 정수리에서 6코의 간격을 두고 바느질 한다.
아래 그림과 같이 표정을 수 놓는다.
발에는 사납고 무서운 발톱을 수 놓는다.
1. Arms
Cast on 6 and join in the round.
Round 1: k to the end.
Round 2: repeat *k 1, YO(yarn over)* to the end = 12 stitches.
Round 3: repeat *k1, ktbl* to the end.
Rounds 4-26: k to the end (a total of 23 rounds).
Round 27: bind off 4, k 7 = 8 stitches.
Break yarn. Make another one the same way.
2. Legs
Cast on 8 and join in the round.
Round 1: k to the end.
Round 2: repeat *k 1, YO* to the end = 16 stitches.
Round 3: repeat *k 1, ktbl* to the end.
Rounds 4-10: k to the end (a total of 7 rounds).
Round 11: bind off 2, k 13 = 14 stitches.
Break yarn and make the second leg the same way. But do not break yarn for the second leg.
3. Body
1) Join the legs
Continue knitting as follows.
Cast on 8 using backwards loop cast on, k to the end of the first leg (place the two legs so that bind off edges face each other), cast on 8 using backwards loop cast on, k to the end of the second leg = 44 stitches.
2) Hip
Place a marker for the beginning and knit 27 rounds in stockinette stitch.
Stuff the legs with filling.
3) Chest
Decrease stitches on both sides of the body as follows.
Round 1: k 12, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 16, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 4.
Rounds 2-4: k to the end (a total of 3 rounds).
Round 5: k 11, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 14, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 3.
Rounds 6-8: k to the end (a total of 3 rounds).
Round 9: k 11, bind off 4, k 13, bind off 4, k 2.
Sew the crotch and stuff the body.
Stuff the arms moderately to avoid them becoming too stiff.
4) Join the arms
Round 1: repeat *k to the bo stitch, k to the end of the arm* 2 times.
Round 2: k to the end.
Round 3: k 11, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 16, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 5.
Round 4: k to the end.
Round 5: k 10, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 14, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 4.
Round 6: k to the end.
Round 7: k 9, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 12, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 3.
Round 8: k to the end.
Round 9: k 8, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 10, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 2.
Round 10: k to the end.
4. Head
Knit 12 rounds and then decrease stitches as follows.
Round 1: k 7, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 8, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 1.
Round 2: k 6, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 6, ssk, k 2, k2tog, k 1.
Round 3: k 8 with needle A, k 10 with needle B, slip the remaining 2 stitches on to needle A.
Stuff the head and use a stuffing tool or long instrument to ensure the stuffing in the body is even.
Place the two needles parallel and sew with the kitchener stitch.
5. Ears
Cast on 4, work back and forth.
Row 1: p to the end.
Row 2: repeat *k 1, M1L* 3 times, k 1 = 7 stitches.
Row 3: p to the end.
Row 4: repeat *k 2, M1L* 3 times, k 1 = 10 stitches.
Rows 5-7: work in stockinette stitch.
Row 8: repeat *k 1, k2tog* 3 times, k 1 = 7 stitches.
Row 9: p to the end.
Row 10: k 1, k2tog 3 = 4 stitches.
Break yarn leaving a length long enough for sewing, and thread it onto a tapestry needle.
Insert the needle through the first stitch and pass it through all the stitches as shown in the picture.
Sew the two eares to the top of the head leaving a gap of 6 stitches between them.
Embroider the facial expression as shown in the picture below.
Embroider fierce and menacing claws.
